ゲンバラ MIG-U1 2009年

Gemballa is a German tuning company from the town of Leonberg, near Stuttgart to provide aftermarket parts for mainly Porsche. It was founded in 1981 by Uwe Gemballa and once shut down in 2010, but soon re-founded. As Uwe was abducted and later found dead in the South Africa, CEO Andreas Schwarz and investor Steffen Korbach bought the brand rights from Gemballa to continue business as GEMBALLA. Before the accident, this Ferrari Enzo based MIG-U1, inspired by and named after the Russian MIG-25 Foxbat fighter aircraft, was developed on behalf of Middle Eastern clients and produced just 5 examples. The naturally aspirated 6.5 litre V12 engine puts out 700ps instead of stock Enzo's 660ps. Besides, use of carbon-fibre components attained 35kg weight reduction and new aeroparts are to create an additional 35kg of downforce at the front and 85kg at the rear. Thus MIG-U1 accelerates to 100km/h in 3.1 seconds and reaches more than 360km/h.

Alfa Romeo Italdesign Scighera 1997 / アルファ・ロメオ・イタルデザイン・シゲーラ 1997年

Scighera is a concept car named after "mist" in Milanese dialect and produced by Italdesign of Giorgetto Giugiaro in 1997 with a mid mounted Alfa Romeo's 3 litre twin turbo V6  engine and full time 4WD system.

Fabrizio, the son of Giorgetto, styled the car with a F1-like front nose preceding Enzo Ferrari (2002) by 5 years. Its semi gullwing door system was derived from Nazca M12 (1991) that was the debut car of Fabrizio's design career.

Scighera looks rather simple as a body shape but has complicated equipment such as the front spoiler on the front grill, movable (shut and open) side air intakes and the spoiler-looking rear end.

The 1/43 Scighera created by Tecnomodel in Italy is quite well made to realize such details in high precision. Its fully hand painting work is also excellent in colour, gloss and total quality.

Alfa Romeo Diva Concept Sbarro 2006 / アルファロメオディーヴァコンセプトスバッロ 2006年

Diva Concept presented at 2006 Geneva Motor show was designed and developed to celebrate 10th anniversary of ESPERA, Franco Sbarro's design school, through a collaboration between Centro Stile Alfa Romeo and Fiat Group's research center Elasis, and built by Carrozzeria GT.

Its two seater light weight midship styling was strongly inspired by legendary Alfa Romeo Tipo 33/2 Stradale and power plant 3.2 litre V6 engine was derived from Alfa Romeo 147 GTA on a highly modified Alfa Romeo 159 chassis.

The car equips butterfly doors as the same as Tipo 33/2 but the most outstanding design feature is F1-like high nose front incorporating spoiler with Alfa Romeo's traditional shape grille. Such complicated details are precisely formed into 1/43 scale and beautifully painted with superb finish as a model car.

SSC Tuatara 2012 / シェルビー・スーパー・カーズ・トゥアタラ 2012年

SSC North America is a supercar manufacturer found by Jerod Shelby in 1999 in Washington, USA that is known by Ultimate Aero the world's fastest production car of 2007-2010.

Tuatara is SSC's second marque and designed by Jason Castriota who was a former chief designer of Pininfarina. Body styling of Tuatara belongs to bullet shape similar to his previous works such as Ferrari P4/5 and Maserati Birdcage 75th.

The mid mounted 6.9 litre V8 twin turbo engine delivers 1,369ps on the curb weight of 1,247kg achieving a power-to-weight ratio of 1,097ps per tonne 2 year ahead of Koenigsegg One:1.

1/43 Tuatara is produced only by Frontiart in top level superb quality of overall form, cabin shape, aero parts and beautiful painting.
